We are a GAF Master Elite contractor, and also use LP BuildSmart siding materials.
What is your service area?
We operate out of Oak Grove and St. Paul, MN and serve the greater Twin Cities area.

How long have you been in business?
Northface Construction was founded in 2010.
How quickly can you make it to my home for a free estimate after I reach out?
While it depends on the time you contact us, we try to make it to all our storm damage estimates on the same day, and if that’s not possible, the very next day.
How long can I expect until my home is back to normal?
It depends on the extent of the damage. However, we understand the urgency of repairing storm damage, and so you can guarantee that we’ll work efficiently to get your home looking brand new again as soon as possible.
Will someone be available to answer my call?
Yes! We always have a dedicated customer service specialist waiting to answer all of your questions.
Will I have a primary point of contact for my project?
Yes! You will have a dedicated sales representative available for any and all questions. Once your project moves to production, your production supervisor will also be a primary point of contact.
Does Northface offer metal roofing options?
We sure do! In fact, we offer EDCO slate metal shingles—a major staple in metal roofing products and located in Hopkins, MN.

What happens if I’m not satisfied with my roof?
If you are not happy with the results of the installation, we will work with you to resolve any issues you may have, as long as they are reasonable. However, our skilled craftsmen, concrete process, and excellent customer service make unsatisfied homeowners extremely rare.
How long does a typical roof installation take?
While it depends on the size of the roof, most residential home roof installations take 1 to 2 days.
Do you offer roof repairs?
Yes, we do.
How will I know if I need a roof repair or replacement?
Common signs of roof damage include loose or missing shingles, water damage in your attic or crawl space, moss and algae growth, and granule loss.
What is roof refresh and how does it work?
A roof refresh, sometimes called roof rejuvenation, uses a plant-derived, oil based spray that rehydrates your roof shingles to extend their lifespan.
Do you work on commercial or large-scale roofs?
Yes, we offer commercial roofing services, specializing in but not limited to multi-family properties.
What roofing materials will you install?
We install almost every roofing material under the sun, including: asphalt shingles, metal shingles, cedar shake, TPO, rubber roofing, and standing seam metal roofing.
What type of storm damage does Northface handle?
Whether it’s wind, storm, hail, or tornado damage, if it involves the exterior of your home, we’re likely going to be able to fix it. And if we can’t, we’ll refer you to someone who can.
How will I know if I have storm damage?
Storm damage may look like small dents or divots in the surface of your shingles, blown off shingles, or other forms of impact damage.

How does an insurance claim work?
As soon as you suspect you have roof damage, carefully note the property damage and then give us a call! We’ll be able to help talk you through the next steps. The first thing we’ll do is provide a free inspection with photo documentation and a report. It’s your choice to decide if you want to contact your insurance and file a claim. Once you have an insurance adjuster out and your claim is approved, we’re happy to proceed with providing the necessary repair work.
How long does a siding project take?
Like many home renovation projects, the duration is highly dependent on the size of the house and what materials are being used. However, as a general rule of thumb, you can expect around two weeks from start to finish for a siding project.
How much maintenance will my new siding need?
While no part of your home’s exterior is without the need for maintenance, siding requires very little. However, the amount of maintenance will also be dependent on which type of siding you go with.
Is there anything I should do to prepare my home for a siding installation?
We highly recommend removing anything from the wall on your interior so that nothing falls off while we’re installing each piece of siding.
What types of siding do you install?
We work with a wide range of siding materials including vinyl, steel, aluminum, wood, and engineered wood.
What are the benefits of installing new windows?
New windows can increase your home’s energy efficiency and the resale value.
How will I know if my windows are energy efficient?
All of the windows that we install are Energy Star certified.
Why are gutters important?
Gutters help divert water away from your roofing system. Without gutters, your home is prone to water damage which can be costly to repair.
Why should I consider gutter guards?
Gutter guards help to keep your gutters free of debris that can lead to clogs.

Can I use financing even if I’m filing an insurance claim?
Of course! Even if your insurance claim is approved, you will have an out-of-pocket deductible. If this is a concern, you are welcome to utilize financing to pay off that deductible in a more budget-friendly way.
